The 6th annual FashionWorked Awards (founded by Ross Pollard) celebrated the winners for 2017 on a roof terrace in Soho over London Fashion Week Men’s as part of the Grooming Room schedule of events – of which Candid Magazine was the media partner.

The laid-back FashionWorked Awards, which took place on the 11th of June, welcomed attendees from the impressive judging panel including Hilary Alexander; our editor-in-chief, Courtney Blackman; our creative director, Rebekah Roy; singer-songwriter, Elyar; television presenters Stefanie Jones (Fashion One) and Prince Cassius (E!), and fashion writer, Jai’me Jan.

An abundance of this year’s award nominees were also present: fashion designer, Joshua Kane; Safia Minney and Sven Segal of Po-Zu and half of the Hoxton Radio fashion team. Joining Candid, media included GQ, Marie Claire, Disorder, Noctis and Rion Magazine, and several stars were at the event including Naomi Grossman, who also presented an award; renowned photographer, Joe Simpson; actor, Charlie Mills and musician, Harry Lee Dobson.

Playing to the awards’ founder, Ross Pollard’s affinity for the hippopotamus (you’ll often find him in a hippo mask), winners took home mini, golden hippos. The full list of winners and presenters is below:
